Yesterday evening we were hit with a bad thunderstorm in Niles, Ohio. This morning we awoke to a beautiful day. The sky was bright blue and the temperature was cool. The wind however was very strong. It was a factor for most of the day. It was a very nice ride though. Yesterday and today we saw Amish families at their homes and in buggies. The children were very friendly and waved to us. I remembered to sprinkle my sand when I crossed into Pennsylvania. I sure want those fairies to shine on me !!!
I found another bakery today! This one was easy to find. It was next door to the laundromat where I was doing my laundry! I had to do something while the washer was going. I am proud to say that I "tasted" 3 items. A filled pizzella, cinnamon twist and an apple filled cookie. None of them were very big but they were my dessert following 2 very large slices of pizza that I ate before going to the laundromat.
