I'm Home!!!

Wow! I can hardly believe that I rode my bike home from Manhattan Beach, California. Chokes me up to think about it!!! This morning at breakfast in Crawfordsville, In. I told my table mates that I wanted to be on the fast train since part of my family and some friends were meeting me at the SAG. I was anxious to get going. About 29 miles into the ride I found Dan and 3 of my riding buddies heading out on our route backwards to find me. I was so happy to see them. We rode on into the SAG and there was Brandon waiting with his camera. My wonderful kids had yellow T-shirts made up in support of my ride. In black lettering on the front it says "TEAM LISA."On the back is a map showing our route. It says 'CROSS COUNTRY BIKE TOUR 2007" "3395 miles 50 days 15 states 1 bike" My kids are the best!!!! After visiting at the SAG, Dan and my friends rode with us to Lafayette Road. We went on from there and Dan picked me up at the hotel. I have had a nice afternoon at home. Doris was soooooooooooooooo happy to see me! I was so happy that she didn't forget me! This has been an emotional day for me. Tommorrow Dan and some other friends will ride with us for part of the ride. That will be great! (Especially since the wind will not be our friend again. They can pull!! Hee Hee)

Thanks to everyone who has come out to ride. It is so nice to have such a support team from home! Two weeks to go!!!!

Woo Hoo! It was soooo good to see and ride w/ you this morning! After you pulled out of the SAG I got a bit misty! BUT.... in just a few weeks you will back home and on the road w/ us. It was great meeting your new riding buddies!
After we finished riding several of us hit Matthews - you know how bike shops are toy stores for us roadies!
Great seeing you! Can't wait until you are home. Keep it up! I am so proud of you!
