Amber Waves of Grain Continued

We had another beautiful day for riding. I found myself smiling and enjoying the views. The last 30 miles I rode by myself at a medium speed. I enjoyed the bright blue sky along with the deep green of the fields and trees. The crosswind didn't even bother me because it made the grain fields look like waves. I saw cows running through a field and then stop to look at me. It was one of those days when I didn't want to stop riding. I just wanted to keep going. Such a great feeling.

Our ride ended in McPherson, Kansas at Best Western. Our room is huge. Finally Joanna and I have room to move around our two bikes without catching on them.

Another awesome day!!! ( Have I mentioned that before?!)

Stats for today:
64.4 miles
3.50 time
24 max
16.7 average
