More of New York

Hi everyone. Greetings from Syracuse, New York! We had another beautiful day for riding. The sky was bright blue, the temperature was perfect and the wind helped us out!! Yeah! Rick ( the mechanic) and I decided to make today a "recovery" day and take it real easy. Our group left 1 hour later today because it was a shorter mileage day and typically the hotels are not ready for us on the weekends until later in the afternoon. We did have some climbing today. Some were long and steady and some short. The next 2 days we have less climbing which will be nice.

The scenery was so beautiful today. We saw rolling hills of fields and tree lines for miles and miles. I love seeing the different shades of green and the different textures of the fields. We rode next to Lake Geneva early in the ride. The temperature was much cooler near the lake. We also rode near the Erie Canal. I have noticed that we are riding through more and more small towns. The buildings look older too. Some are made of stone. I 'm sure history buffs would know a lot about this area.

Time for a much needed NAP!!

Stats:
69 miles
4:28 time
32.7 max ( on a great downhill)
15.4 average
Total miles 3097.5 YEAH!
